Yesterday Emily celebrated her 12th birthday. I'm certain that I am not old enough to have a 12 year old. I must have had her when I was fourteen. :)
We celebrated by spending the day together . (mostly) We went out to lunch, went to the Pleasant Grove Pool for the afternoon, then took her to dinner where she opened presents and enjoyed her favorite meal. She plans to have a friend party next Friday.
That morning she was kidnapped by her YW group. They took her to the Lindon Park where they had donuts
and juice and played get to know you games.
We are so proud of Em and the wonderful young lady that she is
becoming.
