Jared and Kate both had swimming lessons these past two weeks. They LOVED them. Can they swim? Not necessarily . . . but they had fun . . . and isn't that the point? Jared just sinks to the bottom . . . my sweet little solid boy, and Katelyn is more like her mother in that she prefers safety over anything. The above picture is Kate sitting at the edge of the pool simply watching all of her classmates ride down the slide with the teachers. She refused to participate in such frivolousness . . . Yep . . . that's my girl. :) However . . . there is hope! I just swam 1/2 mile in LAKE!
